“An Irish Monk on Lindisfarne” by Gael Turnbull

The other day, after family dinner, we found ourselves reading Whitman’s “A Sony of Myself” in round robin style. We didn’t get anywhere close to all the way through, because the poem has 47 chapters, but it always reminds me of this wonderful poem by Gael Turnbull, which I decided to read, because I love reading.
